Janhvi Kapoor remembers mom Sridevi on Mother's Day: Give them all the love in the world

It's Mother's Day, and like everyone, Bollywood stars, too, are busy expressing their love for their moms on the special day. Janhvi Kapoor, who made her Bollywood debut with Dhadak, shared a heartfelt post for mom Sridevi on Mother's Day. The 22-year-old actress, who posted a childhood picture with Sridevi, remembered her mom on the big day.

It was in February 2018 that the sudden death of Sridevi shocked the nation. India's first female superstar breathed her last in Dubai where she was attending a family wedding with husband Boney Kapoor and daughter Khushi. The Mom actress died of accidental drowning. While Bollywood fans will always miss the actress, it's her family that's still recovering from the shock. In an interview early this year, Janhvi Kapoor spoke about the pain she feels and how she is still processing the shock. "I think, I was still in that state of shock, to be very honest. I think I am still in shock.

None of it has been processed. Like, I have no memory of three or four months," Janhvi had said. On the work front, Janhvi Kapoor is currently shooting for Gunjan Saxena biopic. Directed by Sharan Sharma, the film will see Janhvi play Gunjan Saxena, one of the first Indian female helicopter pilots and the first woman to be honoured with the Shaurya Chakra, who had evacuated injured soldiers in the 1999 Kargil war.
