Salman Khan: I do not want National Awards. I want rewards

Salman Khan has been the king of the box office for the past three decades. The actor, who made his debut in the film Biwi Ho To Aisi in 1988, is one of the biggest stars in the industry today. The journey has been nothing less than a rollercoaster.
Ironically, despite giving several commercial blockbusters throughout his career, he has never received a National Award. Speaking about this, he said, according to a report in Mumbai Mirror, "I don't want a National Award or any other award. I just want rewards. I get my National Award when people go to the theatres to watch my films. There's no reward bigger than the entire nation watching my film."
Recently, Salman said that Katrina Kaif deserves a National Award for her performance in the upcoming film Bharat. When Katrina was asked about this, she said, "I think everyone associated with the film always feels the love and passion for what you do because it has been a long journey. It has been a journey where we all tried to put our heart and soul in to it. And I think Salman has seen every step of the way how hard we worked on this, me and Ali trying to create the character and get this character right for me and for the film."
On the work front, Salman Khan will next be seen in the film Bharat, which is an adaptation of the Korean film An Ode To My Father. Salman will be sporting five looks in the film, including his Maine Pyar Kiya appearance. Katrina Kaif will play the role of his love interest. The film hits screens on June 5.

Asked to pick the better co-star between Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, Shahid reportedly named Deepika and said, "I guess that's because she and I needed to connect for our respective characters. I think I shared more with her because of that than I did with Ranveer." He played Deepika's husband in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmaavat while Ranveer essayed the role of the antagonist in the film that proved to be one of the best grossers for all the three stars. Shahid also claimed he was a better "sexter" between him and wife Mira Rajput. "Equal hi hai, give and take hota hai. We are husband and wife so too much sexting is not really required," the tabloid
